Booking Policy

These Terms & Conditions apply to all dog training services provided by Flo Dog Services ("we", "our", "us"). By booking and attending any training session, class, workshop, or programme, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability.
1.2. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.
1.3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion if we believe a dog may present a risk to other dogs, people, or property.
1.4 Session timings are ‘up to’ the advertised duration. For example, 1 hour sessions will be ‘up to an hour’ in duration as training sessions will be based on quality of learning.
1.5 Bookings of session packages must be booked within 3 months of purchase, no refunds will be given after this period.
1.6 Class bookings will be for the advertised dates only, refunds or alternative dates will not be offered in the case of non attendance due to holiday or sickness.
2. Payments
2.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2. Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
2.3. All fees are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. If you cancel a booking more than 7 days before the scheduled session, you will be entitled to a full refund or transfer to another available date.
3.2. Cancellations made within 7 days of the session may not be eligible for a refund.
3.3. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session, or failure to attend, are non-refundable.
3.4. We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to another session where exceptional circumstances apply.
3.5. If we cancel a session, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Health and Vaccination Requirements
4.1. Dogs attending training sessions must be in good health and free from contagious illnesses.
4.2. Puppies and dogs must have received their initial course of vaccinations appropriate for their age.
4.3. Owners must not bring dogs displaying symptoms of illness, including vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, or other infectious conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog that appears unwell.
4.4. Unspayed bitches who are in season must not attend sessions until after two weeks of their season ending. No refund will be given if you bring your dog to a session while they are in season. If your dog comes into season after a booking has been made, transfer to an alternative date will be offered.
5. Owner Responsibilities
5.1. Owners remain responsible for their dog at all times during training sessions.
5.2. Dogs must be kept on a lead unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.
5.3. Owners must clean up after their dog and dispose of waste appropriately.
5.4. Owners must disclose any behavioural issues, including aggression, fearfulness, reactivity, or bite history, before attending. We reserve the right to remove a dog from a session due to unsafe behaviour.
5.5. Children under the age of 16 attending sessions must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
6. Training Methods
6.1. We use reward-based, positive reinforcement training methods.
6.2. We reserve the right to ask any participant to stop using equipment or techniques that we consider inappropriate, unsafe, or harmful.
6.3. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or abusive.
7. Liability
7.1. Dog training involves inherent risks, including interactions with people, dogs, equipment, and the environment.
7.2. Owners attend training sessions entirely at their own risk.
7.3. We accept no liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, or death suffered by any dog, owner, handler, or third party, except where caused by our negligence.
7.4. Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog.
8. Training Outcomes
8.1. While we will use reasonable skill and care in delivering training services, we cannot guarantee specific behavioural or training outcomes.
8.2. Results depend on many factors, including consistency, environment, and owner participation.
9. Photography and Media
9.1. Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during training sessions for promotional purposes.
9.2. If you do not wish for you or your dog to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before the session.
10. Data Protection/GDPR
10.1. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2. Information will only be used for administering bookings, communicating about services, and complying with legal obligations.
11. Adverse Weather
11.1. Outdoor sessions may be postponed or rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions where safety could be compromised.
11.2. We will notify participants as soon as reasonably possible if a session is affected.
12. Changes to Terms
12.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to your booking.
13. Governing Law
13.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By booking a dog training session, class, workshop, or programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
